Sutton Foster won the Tony Award for best actress in Anything Goes. Star Search, at the age of 15, was her first appearance on television. appeared on TV. Since then, she has been on Bunheads and Psych. As a solo artist, Sutton has performed all over the US in addition to internationally with their musical director Michael Rafter... with songs from her debut solo album "Wish" and her second album "An Evening With Sutton Foster: Live at the Cafe Carlyle." Sutton Foster performed on stages at Carnegie Hall, Feinstein's, Lincoln Center's American Songbook series, Joe's Pub and many others. Ball State University conferred her with an honorary doctorate in the year 2011. As well as being a professor and advisor within the Department of Theatre and Dance, she was also awarded the degree from Ball State University. She has been starring in TV Land's "Younger" which was created by Darren Star, since March 2015.
