Katja Herbers has been a professional musician since the age of a girl. She is the daughter Vera Beths (violinist) and Werner Herbers (oboist). As a child Katja Herbers went with her mom on a tour through America in the chamber orchestra L'Archibudelli. Her father and mother both remarried, her mother to cellist Anner bylsma.
