Born on 2 December 1981 in Cape Town South Africa Lesley-Ann Brandt is an actor and model who is well-known for her appearances in both movies and television shows. Brandt made her debut as a model in New Zealand with the sitcom Diplomatic immunity. Her American debut was in her role as Naevia on the historical drama Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress has appeared on a lot of television shows in the past decade, including Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies as well as The Librarians. Brandt plays Mazikeen, a character in Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro's urban fantasy Lucifer. Brandt grew up in Cape Town South Africa. When she reached her late teens, she moved from Cape Town to Auckland New Zealand along with her parents and siblings. Brandt started her modelling career in ads and printed commercials. Before she rose to recognition as a model, she worked in retail sales as well as working as an expert in recruitment for information technology. In 2009, she was cast as a character on a New Zealand television sitcom called Diplomatic Immunity as Leilani. In the year 2021, her first major role came as Naevia the slave in the Starz series Spartacus Blood and Sand. The actress has also reprised her role as Naevia in the mini-series that prequels Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker co-starred in three television series: Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (1010) and Legend of the Seeker 2008 alongside her. In the year 2016 Mazikeen began her role as a bounty hunting demon in Netflix's smash hit Lucifer. The role she played in Lucifer is her most famous role to date. She co-stars in the show together with Tom Ellis Lauren Germany Kevin Alejandro and D. B. Woodside.
