Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox was awarded a scholarship to attend London's Royal Academy of Music for 3 years. Lennox was paid a salary and part-time work in order to make ends meet. Lennox was a student in the Royal Academy of Music in London, was dissatisfied in her performance when as compared to the performance of her classmates. Then she began to consider different options. Lennox started out as an instrument player with the group Dragons Playground. But she quit when the band was featured on I.T.V.s talent show New Faces. Between 1977 and 1980 she sang in The Tourists. A British pop band from the UK. She met Dave Stewart, with whom they would create the pop duo Eurythmics. After that, Lennox began to work on her solo first album Diva that was released in 1992. The album was an enormous critical and commercial success. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth album as a solo artist came out in the month of October, 2014. This C.D. The C.D. comprises Lennox's favourite blues, jazz, and soul songs of her youth. Lepidoptera contains four improvised keyboard tracks. The E.P. This album is a companion piece to her Now I let the door open... art installation that was exhibited at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. It's also her debut independently-released album. Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on the 25th of December. She is a philanthropist, activist as well as a singer.
